Maid of Honor
I have had a whirl wind of a week! I was the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding today.
Couple things I learned:
1. The maid of honor is doing her job if she is the one freaking out not the bride.
2. A maid of honor can only do her job if she has amazing bridesmaids to help support her, as she supports the bride.
3. Being present in every moment of your wedding day is crucial.
4. A big family means a FAST clean up after the reception!
I had a blast, and am glad one more thing is off my plate, and wish Natalie and Jimmy all the world of happiness!
In other news. I got everything checked off my current list of Visa requirements! YAY! Clean bill of health from the doctor and everything signed.
I am LOVING sharing what God is doing in my life through this whole process with a multitude of people and receiving so much positive feedback and support. Even people I barely know are willing to help in any way that they can!
This week, Natalie and I were sitting in the nail salon and the same song came to both of our minds: "I am blessed. I am blessed. When I raise up in the morning, till I lay my head to rest." How true those words are ringing true to me now as I sit in my newly wed best friend's bedroom surrounded by her family who have taken me into their own! :) LOVE IT!
