Some of my students in my Youth Class |
Later this month it will have been one year since I accepted a teaching position with ESI. I had no clue where God was going to place me, or how I was going to raise enough money to live in another country for a year. At the time I committed to one year of serving Him through teaching English.
A year later, I am living in Ostrava, and loving every minute of it! God has given me wonderful people here to share my life with. I have made friends and have learned a lot about who I am and who He wants me to be in Him.

I bring all of this to you, to let you know that I have decided to extend my stay here in Ostrava for another year. :D I know that God is not finished working here, and I want to continue working with Him. There is still so much for me to learn and share. I will be working with the same school, Fishnet. I am excited about having the opportunity to grow in my relationships with people here.
As a part of this, I once again need to call on you for help. God overwhelmingly provided the $10,000 dollars I needed for this year. Even now I am sitting looking at those zeros, and as a math person can appreciate the value of each one, and I am blown away at how He provided through so many of you exactly what I needed. To the cent!!
For my second year, the cost is not so great. Due to the fact that I do not have to spend 4 weeks in California over the summer, and my visa and all that is already covered. I only need to raise $5,000 for this next year. I want to raise a little bit more for covering the cost of traveling back to America this summer to share with my home church and other supporters what God is doing here in the Czech Republic.
So my grand total that I want to raise is $7,000. I have full faith that He can and will provide exactly what I need. I am payed for my work here, but it is just enough to live on every month. Any amount would help. Even if you can only give $5. That is five dollars I did not have before!

Thanks for praying with me and joining with me on this adventure!! I pray for each of you everyday. Even though I may not have a name to put to the prayers, I do thank God for all of the support He gives me through y'all!! I am blown away!
