Well guys, the auction is over, and the results are far beyond anything I could have imagined! The other day I told my students to be nice to everyone, even if it is hard. You don't know when you will be in need and depend on those exact people to pull you through.
Well you all have pulled me through! Thank you is no where near enough for all of you who have given or donated something to be given! The results, I have raised over $900 this week!! (SIGH!!) I am completely blown away and really can't even fathom how much God has blessed!
This puts me at $6,592 with the matched amount from my church! That means that I only need $1,700 to reach my initial goal of $10,000!!!
I am packing up my apartment this week, so that next week I can focus on my classroom and all the paperwork that comes with the end of the year.
As I close this chapter in my life (in Belton) I want to say a tremendous THANK YOU to all of my friends here. You have helped me in a huge transition part of my life from child to adult. You have encouraged me, supported me, corrected me, and loved me. Thank you never seems enough, but know that I will keep in touch with all of you, and hope to return to Belton in the not so far off future!
