Steps

This week I have taken HUGE steps in following the Lord to the Czech Republic. I sent in an application with a teaching organization. It is a non-denominational Christian organization that sends teachers all over the world to do what they love to do, teach.

I had come across this organization several times in search of an organization to go with. I didn't know anything about them, and didn't know anyone who was serving with them, so I was hesitant. After praying and seeking the Lord, I had a peace about searching out every possible option. God is good about having us do things that make us uneasy, so that we learn to trust Him.

I have talked with one of their representatives quite a bit and she was more than willing to answer any questions I had. (A huge blessing, and completely different from any other org. I came into contact with.) I knew that it was God who had been shutting every other door, so that I would trust Him to lead me exactly where I needed to go.

Long and short of it, I have an interview on Monday at 4:00 pm (CST). Your prayers for clarity and guidance during this time is MOST appreciated! Pray that I will be open to anything the Lord has for me. That I would have clear sight in what He wants me to do, and I won't jump before He says it's ok.

After the interview they will let me know in a week of two if I have been accepted or not. If I am accepted, and they schedule me to serve next year, I will have some support to raise before July 17. I will go to California for a month of training on July 17, and then on to the Czech Republic in August. I'm not sure if I will be in Prague or some other city in CZ. Right now, I am just allowing God to take control, and I will go where He sends.
