Bringing Good News

"How can people have faith in the Lord and ask him to save them, if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear, unless someone tells them? And how can anyone tell them without being sent by the Lord? The Scriptures say it is a beautiful sight to see even the feet of someone coming to preach the good news." ~Romans 10:14-15 (CEV)

This past week I was asked to join the work that is being done with Educational Services International. I had an hour and a half interview last Monday over the phone with the Central Europe Director. She sent me an invitation to join them on Wednesday.

I took a day to pray through my final decision and truly seek if this was the avenue the Lord wanted me to take. Thursday night I had complete peace about working with this organization. So...I have accepted their invitation and will be going to the Czech Republic in August. :D!!!!

Words cannot express how grateful I am for all the prayers and support that I have received from so many people! The past year God has grown me and stretched me. He has taught me to trust Him and wait for Him to guide. This has been a huge journey of faith, and I can't wait to continue, because I know it is NOT done!

So what is next? I have about $10,000 to raise before I leave. I know that the Lord will provide every cent, and I am trusting Him to lead. Training starts in California on July 17. I will head out there a few days before with my bags backed. I will say 'see you later' to my family at that time, because I will not return home before heading to Europe.

I will leave from California to go to the Czech Republic (still not sure which city) in the middle of August of this year! I will be teaching English at a public high school or middle school. I am so excited about working with nationals and learning as much Czech as I can. As so many have mentioned, I will probably learn the words I don't want to learn first. :)

Continue to pray about how you can be involved in what God is doing.

More info on how you can contribute and give coming soon.
