We have a bible study every other Tuesday night here in English. We are going through the book Experiencing God. We have two Czech women who study with four of us Americans. It is so amazing to me how we all have so many different views. We come from different Spiritual backgrounds and different denominations and experiences. The scripture is real and yet different to each of us.
Last night we had a deep discussion about God's Will and Free Will. At times it did get heated and we really wanted to make our point clear. I love these kinds of discussions. It reminds me of Jacob who wrestled with God. He wanted a blessing. He wanted something from God.
Sometimes we shy away from the subjects that are difficult for us to understand and we chalk it up to Deuteronomy 29:29 "The secret things belong to the Lord our God..." Wrestle with Him. Ask Him those questions you want answers for. Spend time digging and arguing in Faith and seek His face.
You might end up with a dislocated knee joint, but the blessing will be yours and the faith you have in Him increased so much more!
Seek and you will find. (Why do I always want to say that in the King James Version: Seek and ye shalt find....oh well...that's just random rambling, and so was that. : ) ) Ok going to work now. Just some early morning thoughts over coffee. Have a great day, anyone who reads this.
