Wow! It has been 2 weeks. Sorry guys, where did February go?! Mom and Dad will be here in 10 days?! WHAT?! Ok, on to my thoughts. :) Have a great day! Oh and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray about giving to what God is doing here in the Czech Republic!! If you want to donate go to the "How Do I Give" tab above! Thanks! GOD BLESS!
Ain't no mountain high, ain't no valley low
Ain't no river wide enough to keep me from you!
Remember the day I set you free,
I told you, you could always count on me
From that day on I made a vow,
I'll be there when you want me someway some how...
Ok...so the other night at our meeting for summer English camp, some started singing this song. And for the first time ever it struck me, and I wondered if this has hit anyone else.
Do those verses not remind you of these verses:
Psalm 139:8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
or how bout these...
Romans 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The love of God is all around. This week I have had the opportunity to experience the love the Czech people have. On Sunday we were invited to our pastor's apartment in the church for lunch. His wife prepared a wonderful meal for us and she let me bang around on her piano. The only English song book she had was Children's Christian songs. So we shared with our hosts the joys of Father Abraham, I am a C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N!, I'm in the Lord's Army, The B-I-B-L-E and many more!
After lunch they sat and talked with us until 5 in the afternoon (17.00). What a sweet time of fellowship and with such wonderful hosts! We were definitely blessed to spend such quality time with them.
Then also this week, my coworkers have taken me in and are investing in my learning of Czech. They helped me with my homework and have been teaching me new vocabulary words. They have given me encouragement and gently laughed at my mistakes. It is so much fun and I am loving getting to know them better.
It is amazing how God chooses to show us His love. Being poured into makes it easy to pour out. I am grateful for those who have poured into me, now I want to pour out to others. :)
