I might as well....

I want a place to share random thoughts or musings. Twitter is a good outlet, but I might need to type something longer than 140 characters.

I am not going to promise to keep up with this, or make regular posts. However, when a thought occurs I feel needs sharing, I'll give an update.

God is doing a lot in my life right now, and I am praying through a lot. I feel He has called me to serve Him in another country. Through visiting my friend who served in Prague, I felt a strong call to serve Him in that city. There is a school there The Christian International School of Prague (CISP). They are always in need of teachers.

I need to find a means of getting there. I know God is faithful, and if He has truly called me to this school, He will make a way! Please pray with me as I seek wisdom on following the Lord.

This morning I was reading in 2 Kings 22. Josiah, a king to the nation of Judah, was described in vs. 2 as one who "did right in the sight of the Lord" and "did not turn to the right or the left." Can that be said of me? If someone were to write about me, and give me a description, could those words be said about me? Do not turn to the right or the left. Follow the Lord, trust every step that you take, He will be with you (even when you can't see Him because all around you is darkness).

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.
