The Fishnet Girls!
R to L: Erica, Chelsea, Ashley, Jessica
Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:1-6So much of training to move overseas is team building. The girls I will be living with in Ostrava will be the people I need to depend on, lean on, and support. I have so enjoyed getting to know each of them! I can't wait to serve the Lord with them in the Czech Republic!
God has also blessed me by people I wasn't necessarily expecting. He has surrounded me with people who will hold me up, encourage me when I feel completely alone in a crowded room, and just sit and let me be who I need to be (no filters). It kind of makes me sad that I won't get to be around these people for the rest of the year. They maybe a country away or across the Czech Republic.
However, I am beyond excited to continue to build these relationships. The stress of training can really unite you. I have only known these people for almost two weeks, and already I know that life long friendships have been established.
Thank you for praying! I can't begin to tell you how knowing so many people are talking to the Father on your behalf helps in those darkest moments. I am truly loved and love all of you! Today I hope you find community in those around you. Don't be afraid to be vulnerable with someone. It is not weakness, for God says "My grace is sufficient for you. My power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Cor. 12:9 When we are weak then we are strong, through Him!
I love it! Please continue to pray for my dad. Scans later this week, then full results next Tuesday. We are waiting patiently on the Lord. Thank you for praying already.
